Greasers
To celebrate these rich subcultures, Huck magazine are releasing a limited edition collectable supplement for its monthly subscribers. The supplement called “HSC”, will sit inside each bi-monthly release of 2018. Each release will have a different report on a modern subculture. I was commissioned to beautifully design the supplement for Februarys’ release. My design was to capture the essence and energy of a modern subculture.
I chose to topic my subculture supplement on Greasers. The greaser subculture was a subculture that originated in the Southern and Eastern United States in the 1950s and was comprised of working-class street gang youth.
