Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is a soft pink variety of quartz admired for its gentle, translucent appearance and smooth luster. Its color ranges from very pale blush to a deeper rose hue, caused by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese. With a Mohs hardness of 7, Rose Quartz is relatively hard and durable, making it suitable for carvings, jewelry, and decorative pieces. It often forms in massive structures rather than well-defined crystals, though rare crystal specimens do exist.

Rose Quartz is found in many parts of the world, including Brazil, Madagascar, India, South Africa, and the United States (especially South Dakota). Throughout history, Rose Quartz has been associated with love, compassion, and emotional healing, often referred to as the “stone of unconditional love.” It has been used in talismans, sculptures, and beauty tools since ancient times and continues to be cherished today in both decorative arts and crystal healing practices.
