Spirit Quartz

Spirit Quartz is a striking and highly distinctive variety of quartz, recognized for its main crystal point encrusted with hundreds of tiny, glittering secondary crystals, giving it a shimmering, druzy surface. It most commonly appears in soft lavender to purple hues when composed of amethyst, but can also be found in white, yellow (citrine), or pink, depending on the mineral content. With a Mohs hardness of 7, Spirit Quartz is relatively durable, making it suitable for display, careful jewelry use, and spiritual tools.

Spirit Quartz is found almost exclusively in South Africa, particularly in the Mpumalanga region, where it was first discovered in the early 2000s. It is highly valued not only for its beautiful and intricate formation but also for its metaphysical associations with cleansing, spiritual growth, and group harmony.
