Reconnection
Finding my Swing
Growing up in the Baltimore area, I was always drawn to golf but never had the opportunity to play until my senior year of high school. While most of my teammates had been playing since childhood, something about the precision, strategy, and quiet intensity of golf resonated with me immediately.
The College Transition
My time at WVU has been rewarding academically, but challenging for my golf aspirations. The absence of women's golf programs, combined with not having a car until recently, significantly limited my playing opportunities.
During breaks at home, I'd make time for the driving range, but these brief sessions couldn't replace the regular practice and competition I'd grown to love. I missed the structure of scheduled practices, the thrill of improvement, and simply being outdoors connecting with the course.
Looking Forward: Back on Course
With transportation now available, I'm exploring golf opportunities around Morgantown. This collection serves as both motivation and milestone marker as I reintegrate golf into my collegiate life.
I may not be pursuing professional aspirations, but I'm rediscovering the satisfaction of steady improvement, the challenge of course management, and the simple pleasure of being outdoors with a purpose.
Fore Tee continues to grow alongside my rekindled relationship with golf. Each new addition marks another step in a journey that started later than most but means all the more because of it.
