Hey there! Welcome to puuurse.com, I am Heidi Mundy, a junior graphic design student at West Virginia University, and this is my collection of purses that embody my love for fashion.

growing up

Growing up in West Virginia was different than growing up in a place like New York.
I wasn’t born surrounded in fashion, I had to surround myself with it. I have always loved dressing up, but purses are special to me...

Purses are a way to communicate character and show individuality in the fashion world.

My love for them started when I decided what I wanted to communicate, my love for fashion, specifically vintage fashion.
I started thrifting in high school with my mom, and eventually we would go every weekend. On every shopping trip, I would buy a purse if I liked it, and it has been the same ever since!

Now, I have channeled my love for purses and fashion into my studies as a fashion student, and I would love to work in accessory design!

I still regularly search thrift/department stores for additions to my collection, and I look forward to finding purse brands or colors that I do not have yet (and more pink obviously). I hope to inspire others to not just use bags for function, but to make it your bag by making it unique to you!
