Meet The Family
Feyre, Rhysand and his Inner Circle spend most of their time in Velaris. The city is a well-guarded secret, the only people knowing that Velaris existed were the ones that were living there themselves. It is not on any map or mentioned in any book beyond those written there.
High Lord & High Lady
R hysand (pronounced Ree-sand) is the most powerful High Lord in history and the current ruler of the Night Court, alongside Feyre Archeron.
He is incredibly handsome and appears to be arrogant, careless, and cold at first. He meets Feyre when he saves her from three faeries at Calanmai. Not long after, he helps Feyre countless times throughout her trials Under the Mountain and goes as far as to fight for her in the final moments before she dies.
When she is resurrected, their mating bond clicks into place, but he hides it from her in fear that it would scare her away. In the end, she accepts the mating bond and he swears Feyre in as his High Lady
Feyre Archeron (pronounced: Fay-ruh) is the High Lady of the Night Court and the first-ever High Lady of Prythian.
She was originally a mortal, but was resurrected as High Fae by the seven High Lords after her death Under the Mountain. For some time, Feyre resided at the Court of Dreams in Velaris after leaving the Spring Court, but during A Court of Mist and Fury, and due to the events in Hybern, she returns to the Spring Court. In the conclusion of the trilogy, Feyre has once again taken up residence in Velaris, reigning over the Night Court as High Lady alongside Rhysand, her mate, husband, and High Lord of the Night Court.
The Court
The Inner Circle is a group of individuals who help Rhysand govern the Night Court. They comprise of:
- Rhysand - High Lord of the Court.
- Feyre Archeron - High Lady and former emissary to the Mortal lands.
- Amren - Second-in-Command.
- Morrigan - Third-in-Command.
- Azriel - Spymaster.
- Cassian - Commander of the Night Court's armies.
