Associate Member Application

This application is for New and Returning Associate Members who wish to participate in the Morgantown Farmers Market Growers Association. Associate membership (voting) is open to the non-vendor Morgantown community at large who wish to materially participate in the MFMGA through member activities such as education, communications, and/or marketing efforts; member meetings, committee work, and/or the Board of Directors; and to promote the goals of the MFMGA. Associate membership is not open to family members, employees, business partners, and other individuals directly involved in the operation of MFMGA vendor member farms or businesses.

The annual Associate membership fee is $50. Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the year.

Newly accepted Associate members approved by the Board of Directors from January through April are entitled to voting privileges at the start of the forthcoming market year (e.g., May 2017-April 2018). New associate members accepted at other times of the year are entitled to voting privileges for the duration of the current market year.

Applicants must complete each application section in full, sign the application, and submit fees payable to Morgantown Farmers Market Growers Association (MFMGA). Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Morgantown Farmers Market Growers Association (MFMGA) supports “Producer-only” markets in Morgantown throughout the year (Summer and Winter Markets) and a Summer Market in Westover, WV.

The MFMGA is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization

All membership applications are subject to the approval of the MFMGA Board of Directors. Friend of the Market membership rights are limited to the individual approved and may not be transferred or assigned to another individual or entity.
